My Story
Born and raised by two educators, it felt natural for me to follow in their footsteps. I spent 11 wonderful years teaching in both traditional and non-traditional elementary school settings, and while I still love teaching, everything shifted when I became a mom to two darling little girls. Suddenly, I realized I couldn’t be both the teacher I wanted to be and the mom I wanted to be — and I know so many working moms can relate to that struggle.

When I stepped away from the classroom to spend time at home with my girls, I discovered something I had always carried with me: a natural love for organizing. As a child, I rearranged my bedroom weekly just for fun. That passion grew into keeping my classroom functional and my home peaceful. During my years at home, I found joy in creating order out of chaos, and it sparked an idea: what if I could turn this skill into a career that allowed me to help others while still being present for my family?

With the encouragement of a fellow mom friend in a similar season of life, Uniquely Sorted was born. It’s been the perfect blend of creativity, service, and flexibility. I get to bring peace and function to my clients’ homes, fulfill my love of helping people, and still be there for school drop-offs, field trips, and everything in between.
